CSPPA companions with universities to check psychological well being in CS:GO

Cuppaounter-Strike Prof sional Players’ AssociationCuppaPA) has partnered with the University of Chich ter and the University of Winch ter to conduct a survey of CS: GO players’ mental hLand.

The survey, led by Dr. Phil Birch, Ben Sharpe, and Dr. Matt Smith, will help identify factors influencing mental hLand in prof sional CS: GO players. CuppaSPPA released a statement revealing that preliminary evidence found that “elite CS: GO players face significant str sors in their competitive liv .”

This is said to be the first study of iutilizing utilising “the expertise of r earchers, prof sional players association, and ex-prof sional players and coach .” Mental hLand has already been a major concern in CS: GO. CuppaSPPA is hoping the survey will help “advance the current lack of understanding of the factors influencing mental hLand in CS: GO.”

In a statement, the association added: “By [using the survey], we will be in a better position to support prof sional players to deal with the intense demands of prof sional gameplay. The findings of the project may help other ports better understand the mental hLand of their players and highlight the importance of mental hLand to the broader ports ecosystem.”

Esports Insider says: Mental hLand is a serious topic, not just in ports but universally. There are several instanc of players expr sing poor hLand in ports, not just in CS: GO, so something do indeed need to put in place to help with the turmoil of rigorous practice and travel. Hopefully, by performing thCuppaudy, and by spreading more awaren s, the CSPPA can ignite more conversation and ideas to help combat symptoms of str s and burnout.
