The creation of the parent company is down to the evolution of Giants Gaming through recent growth, recently an investment of €3M (£2.73M) was made by the Sanchez Cozar Group towards a new facility in Malaga and new products.

The esports division of Good Game Group consists of Vodafone Giants and the recently-acquired x6tence. Between the two brands, they compete in 13 titles.

The second sector, GG Media, is responsible for entertainment and content creation. Esportmaníacos,  the latest acquisition from Giants Gaming, will deliver live broadcasts on Twitch in 2021. BCN Fighters and GGM Studios will both review esports news – though the former will focus more on the fighting game community.

The last sector, GG Products, will “encompass the business of peripherals and hardware products, aimed at professional and amateur gamers.” It has launched products such as headphones, keyboards and mice, mats, and is also working on gaming chairs.

José Ramón Díaz, CEO of Good Game Group, commented on the venture: “The objective is to continue professionalising the company with our three current activity verticals: competition, entertainment, and development and marketing of hardware products, among which we already accumulated more than 25 million fans who generate more than 100 million monthly impacts.

“Our commitment to fans, to our investors and to the brands that support us has resulted in a solid and balanced group in economic terms. No other company in the industry in Europe has carried out such a movement.”

Esports Insider says: This is a huge move by Giants Gaming to expand and solidify its infrastructure. Having separate sectors in esports organisations is something that we have seen before, but rarely in Europe. There is no doubt that Díaz is trying to claim that spot as Europe’s most rapidly-growing esports organisation.
